  1. I permanently became a quality player the day a friend and I hit 300 balls in row. I never beat myself after that day because I knew I could keep the ball in play. It wasn’t because I “believed in myself” – you can believe all you want – if you can’t keep the ball in play, or hit a finishing volley, or hit solid second serves, etc. – you will lose points that will lead to losing matches…
